Client Challenge
Sirius okná, as a company starting in 21st century obviously needed a website especially when you are a company that sells windows, doors and other accessories. Being a small family company on a tight budget they contacted me as they can not afford some web development agency with unknown work quality. Making the situation even more complicated they can not use a regular e-shop template as they always creates offer based on the client needs.
Client Opportunity
The client firstly contacted me to have a consultation about possible solutions as they know me for a long time and they know that this is my cup of tea. After I heard them out and provided my feedback I have offered them that I will create the website for them. Knowing they are on a super tight budget I made this offer a pro bono. We agreed that they will provide me with a design and I will implement the solution.
Our Solution
1. Very unique design
As mentioned earlier the design was provided to me and it was created by the client himself. This brought an interesting aspect to the development and made the whole website more unique and personal.
2. E-shop without a buy option
Due to the fact that they are selling windows which composition, price and many more aspects depend on the place of installation the website can not show any "Buy Now" button with a price. Instead the website provides an option to get a quote with "I am interested" button which allows the customer to send a message to Sirius okná. After which the customer obtains an email with a quote and other details.
3. Fully responsive and customer oriented
Whether you want to buy new windows from your laptop, tablet or mobile we are ready. Using the journey-driven design we focused mostly on the desktop version of the website as this is what most users will use but we hadn't forget on mobile users too. So we developed firstly the desktop version and then scaled it down to fit on mobile screens.
The Results
The website is currently undergoing some redesign and extension. Using agile development methodologies with combination of CI/CD principles the project is continuously updated and enhanced. The website is build using the React more specifically using Next.js framework with Firebase backend. The result is available here.
