Client Challenge
An established business Swopi launched their successful application Swopi with me but identified that their product is often used by a companies with tens of employees. The mobile application provided support only for a single person accounts no team or organization options.
Client Opportunity
Seeing this challenge as an opportunity they decided that they need a web application to address those issues. Offering a new subscription plan as well as new functionality such as bulk actions and sharing contacts within the team was a right way to go. Thanks to the good decisions made in prior, e.g. choosing Flutter for development allowed them to easily extend the existing solution and save a lot of money.
Our Solution
1. Build on top of an successful mobile app
Being an extension of the original Swopi app it allows existing users to expand and grow with their team. Benefiting from full integration with the mobile application all the team members can enjoy all the features the app like AI business card scanner or personal analytics.
2. Unleash the full potential for companies
Providing bulk operations to streamline the managers workflow was goal number one from the beginning. On top of that we allow companies to define their own gallery of logos, profile photos, etc. Assets from that gallery are available to all the team members which reinforces the brand identity.
3. Provide powerful team insights
Besides the ability to manage all members of the team managers also have access to analytics and various insights. Those for example include how many times profiles of their members were visited and which links were tapped the most, which members were active the most and much more.
The Results
The result was delivered in a four months which is a bit more than the originally planed two months. The main reason for this was implementation additional features such as team assets. Besides the delayed deployment the application works well and provides a great value to both the existing as well as new users.
